Atacama

Atacama follows the journey of a young woman transporting a mysterious sealed box from Paris to Chile’s Atacama Desert. The Atacama Desert is one of the most hostile places on the planet. Due to its aridity, nothing grows or lives there. Yet, because of its salinity and dryness, nothing truly disappears either; whatever dies there is perfectly preserved. This vast expanse of cracked red earth allows nothing to fully live or fully die. It is a territory that defies comprehension. At the foot of gigantic telescopes, amidst the dust of the world’s driest desert, a tormented personal quest slowly unfolds.
